About Me.

Hello, I am a third-year transfer student at San Diego State University. Currently, I am working on a Psychology major with an emphasis in neuroscience and both a Counseling and Social Change and Cultural Proficiency minors. I’m an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Jessica McCurley's Health Innovation, Justice, and Action (HIJA) lab. My goal after graduation is to earn a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience. I will hopefully, also mentor a wide variety of students and make a positive impact in their educational careers and lives. I was appointed to MARC (Maximizing Access to Research Careers) in September 2024.
